Sootopolis City/The Cave of Origin

Upon entering, you will notice that there are two parts of the City: The right part, which holds some houses and the Pokemon Center, and the left part, which holds the mart, some houses, and The CAVE of ORIGIN! Sorry about the exaggeration, but this is where you will face the LEGENDARY POKEMON OF THE GAME!!!!!!! As shown on the Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire gameboy advance game box. Go to the Pokemon Center, heal your Pokemon if needed, head to the right part, go up (All of the people have locked their doors because of the current weather), and go the CAVE OF ORIGIN! Sorry. Now, it is located, on the right part, to the North, East, and then South. It's so east to find, you can't miss it. You will see Steven and the Gym Leader here, Wallace. They will take you the the Cave of Origin and you will have to enter. Try to have Pokemon over levels 40+ before entering. It would be helpful to bring flash, too, as the tunnels are very dark. ENTER, O' POWERFUL ONE! Geez, I can't control that...

The Cave of Origin

This is a dark place, so use flash if you need to. The paths are easy to travel through, so just walk ahead. In the top-left corner of the first tunnel is the HM Waterfall. This lets you travel up waterfalls after you beat Wallace. Occasionally, while walking, you will hear a thunder of noise, or a loud thud. Heehee, Kyogre/Groudon must be SO mad, it's hitting the roof! Literally! Anyway, you will reach the lava-filled/water-flooded room housing the legendary Pokemon. Save your game before battling if you wish, and then walk in front of it. Your Orb will glow and Kyogre/Groudon will emerge into battle! The legendary Pokemon is only at level 45, not even halfway to Level 100! Even some of the Elite Four could beat it! Now, use the Master Ball to instantly catch it, or battle it. Groudon/Kyogre will have many HP, so use Super-Effective attacks! Soon it will lose and get beaten/caught. You will emerge from the cave, victorious with your easy battle. That is, if your Pokemon were over level 40. Steven will congratulate you for your job-well-done! All of the houses are open to you, and the Gym is open! Be careful to have all of your Pokemon at levels 42+ before picking a battle with Wallace, and be SURE to have Grass and Electric Pokemon on your team, and them being strong ones.

The Rain Badge

Now, in here you will notice that the Gym consists of a floor puzzle, on which you can only step once on each part. Here's how it will be:
Floor #1- up, right, up, left, left, up, right, up.
Floor #2- up, all of the way left, all of the way up, right, right, down, right, right, right, down, right, up, up, left, left, left, up.
Floor #3- up, right, right, up, right, right, down, right, up, up, up, left, left, down, left, up, left, down, down, left, left, down, left, up, left, down, left, up, left, up, up, right, down, right, up, right, down, right, up, right, up.

Thank you, thank you. Now, Wallace has some serious Pokemon. As a matter of fact, some people think that he is the best trainer in all Hoenn. He can not possibly be a pushover, especially if your Pokemon are under level 40. If they are, you need some more good training. Save before battling him, unless you're doing it for then Exp. points. Each time you lose, you lose half of your money. Anyway, he starts out with a level 40 Luvdisc, which can be a pain to beat, especially if you have male Pokemon, because of its Attract attack. It will easily go down with some quick electric moves, like thunder. All of Wallace's Pokemon know the move Water Pulse. Wallace isn't discouraged yet. He will send out a level 42 Whiscash, which can be beaten with grass Pokemon. Moves like Solar Beam taught to Groudon or Thunder taught to Kyogre would be a load of help. This Whiscash will use Earthquake repeatedly, unless it runs out of PP ( and yes, that's possible). Next on the team will be a level 41 Sealeo, which can use annoying Hail attacks. Ice attacks are resistant to Grass type Pokemon, so have fighting moves used against it. Then, probably disouraged, he will send out his level 42 Seaking. This Pokemon will be like any other of Wallace's Water Pokemon; It will know Water Pulse and some Water moves. Grass and Electric will be effective against it. Then Wallace will send out his last and best Pokemon, his level 43 Milotic. This Pokemon is a hard, pain-in-the-neck Pokemon to beat. It will use its tough Water Pulse attack to try and confuse you, sometimes it will use Earthquake, and Wallace will definitely heal it. It will take all of your tough Pokemon to take it out. Even a level 45 Electric type Pokemon may have a hard time against it! Soon it will faint at your feet, and you will have won all of your badges! Excellent! Wallace will give you the Rain Badge and the usual prize TM. In this case it is Water Pulse. This attack is a strong Water one and might possibly confuse the defending Pokemon. I rarely use my TMs because I collect them, unless I can win them back or rebuy them. Now that you have all of the badges and can use Waterfall, what do you do now? You head to Evergrande City! Teach Waterfall to one of your Pokemon and head East.

Back to the Last Team Confrontation.                                                On to Evergrande City!
